First Impressions

After a number of years of chronic Lyme disease, Jenny Rush experienced a shift of allegiance from mind to heart. After that shift, her healing journey took a left turn through illness and into a vibrant life of well being. It was sometimes a bumpy and messy trip through her illness, but the silent “wow” of a transformed life experience made it rich. It became clear along the path that the most powerful force in her healing was herself.

Jenny encourages patients to trust in their healthcare providers, keep their hearts free from anger and bitterness, and know they are worthy to be healed.

Warmly,

Lyme and Health Experts

As a regular listener to Lyme Ninja Radio, you will be exposed to many experts in and around the Lyme Community. It’s important to keep tabs on the latest developments in Lyme research and treatment, and it’s also important to cross pollinate these ideas with experts outside of the Lyme community. Many scientific breakthroughs happen unexpectedly. The most famous example is the accidental discovery of penicillin. By including experts from field outside of the Lyme community, I hope to keep our thinking fresh.

Below are the most recent Expert interviews.

Several years ago Richard Lin became ill after taking course of antibiotics. And ended up being hospitalized. Wondered why he got sick, started reading literature on gut health and discovered the microme. After heading down that rabbit hole he learned more and more about the gut microbiome he realized that there wasn’t a service dedicated to helping people monitor and improve their microbiome health. So he founded Thryve, a company dedicated to creating personalized probiotic formulas.

In 2015 Bob Miller was inspired to start examining chronic lyme disease, and he founded NutriGenetic Research Institute to research and publish reports on the relationship between genetic variants, labs and presenting symptoms.

Chris Masterjohn, PhD earned in PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Connecticut in 2012. After working in academia from 2012 to 2016 he branched off. Now he is conducting independent research, developing his nutritional consulting practice, and helping people gain better health.

Through his Magnesium Advocacy Group (MAG), he is committed to educating as many people as possible about the importance of iron toxicity and how magnesium and copper help regulate the well-being of all.
